The Gujrat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has resigned in a rather dramatic fashion. Along with the entire cabinet. This decision came as a surprise to many as the Gujarat polls are set to take place next year.
Senior BJP leaders are in Ahmedabad to discuss the possible replacements. There are speculations that the recently sworn in Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Nitin Patel could be the replacements. Nitin Patel was the deputy Chief Minister of Gujrat.
There is another possibility that Praful Khoda Patel could also be the replacement who is presently the Administrator of the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Lakshadweep.
It would be interesting see now how this all effects the Gujrat Politics and BJP as a party.
